Mission Critical Partners Announces January Continuing Education Series

PORT MATILDA, Pa. (January 21, 2016)—The fast-paced nature and demands of emergency communications makes it challenging to set aside time for education sessions, however, it is vitally important to stay abreast of new technologies, legislation and strategic planning because lives count on 9-1-1. In order to help public safety communications agencies stay current, Mission Critical Partners (MCP) has decided to offer hour-long, monthly, on-line educational sessions to the public safety community. January’s event is listed below. Be sure to register early as space is limited.

Date: January 27, 2016, 2:00 pm EST / 1:00 pm CST

Topic: Continuity of Operations: Caring for kin so you can care for your community

Large scale emergency events have no regard for anyone, including first responders and their families. As public safety professionals, taking care of our families is our prime responsibility. How does that affect our performance as telecommunicators and first responders? What can we do to take care of our public safety family so our community can be cared for? In this session we will take an alternative look at areas that have been addressed before and some new ideas that can assist your agency in preparing for employee performance risk during a critical incident.

“As former public safety managers, we understand the need to stay current on issues affecting the public safety communications industry and are pleased to offer these sessions,” said Kevin Murray, MCP’s president and co-founder.
