MCP to Support State of Arizona in Effort to Advance Emergency Response

Phoenix, A.Z., (February 6, 2020)—The State of Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA) has selected Mission Critical Partners (MCP), a leading public safety consulting and information technology (IT) support services firm, to assist with the procurement of an Emergency Services Internet Protocol Network (ESInet) and Next Generation Core Services (NGCS), part of the ADOA’s ongoing efforts to enhance emergency response for its citizens by modernizing its 9-1-1 infrastructure.

The project will bring significantly enhanced first responder communications to emergency communications centers in Arizona and prepare the state’s communications for Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG911), a broadband-enabled, IP-based system that allows 9-1-1 to keep pace with communication technology used by the public.

Leveraging the experience gained from working on more than 1,000 public safety projects, and in conjunction with industry standards and best practices, MCP will provide consulting services to the state regarding its public safety communications network, including the following tasks:

• Assessing the technology currently deployed throughout Arizona and determining the needs of its 86 public safety answering points (PSAPs)
• Providing conceptual solution design
• Evaluating vendor request for proposals (RFPs)
• Supporting procurement and contract negotiation efforts
