(December 19, 2024) — Mission Critical Partners (MCP) has been engaged by the city of Columbus, Ohio, to conduct comprehensive assessments of its various approaches and capabilities for responding to events that are outside the realm of traditional law-enforcement, fire/rescue, and emergency-medical incidents. Examples include incidents involving behavioral/mental health, substance abuse/addiction, and low-acuity medical calls, e.g., sprains, flu-like symptoms, a minor cut requiring stitches, and stomach pains.

Marc Berryman to Posthumously Receive National Emergency Number Association Presidential Award During the 2023 National Conference

Will be recognized for outstanding work in advancing 911 service in the United States

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (June 14, 2023)— Mission Critical Partners (MCP) announced that Marc Berryman was selected by Laurie Anderson, president of the National Emergency Number Association (NENA), to receive the organization’s Presidential Award. Anderson will present the award posthumously to MCP’s Sherri Griffith Powell on June 18 during NENA’s 2023 national conference in Grapevine, Texas. Berryman and Griffith Powell were MCP colleagues who worked on numerous projects together during Berryman’s eight years with the firm. He died one year ago after a short battle with cancer.

Shumate National Public Safety Contributor to Excellence Award from the IJIS Institute. Wheeler recently joined MCP when the firm acquired Seattle-based MTG Management Consultants, where he served as senior partner and chief executive officer (CEO). Wheeler is an MTG cofounder and led the firm’s justice and courts practice. He serves in a similar role at MCP as vice president of justice and courts.
