MCP to Support State of Arizona in Effort to Advance Emergency Response

Phoenix, A.Z., (February 6, 2020)—The State of Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA) has selected Mission Critical Partners (MCP), a leading public safety consulting and information technology (IT) support services firm, to assist with the procurement of an Emergency Services Internet Protocol Network (ESInet) and Next Generation Core Services (NGCS), part of the ADOA’s ongoing efforts to enhance emergency response for its citizens by modernizing its 9-1-1 infrastructure.

MCP recently completed a project in Charles County, MD on the county's fire and emergency medical services that makes a number of recommendations to help the county reduce emergency response decision-making time and improve operational standards. MCP completed the first comprehensive review of the state of the county's fire and EMS capabilities in 15 years.

MCP In the News: Three-Digit Suicide Prevention 'Lifeline' Would Benefit Public-Safety Communications

MCP's Glenn Bischoff recently contributed an article on the FCC's proposal to create a three-digit number—988—for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. This proposed three-digit number could improve call volumes in the nation's already overburdened 911 centers and help improve emergency response. 

MCP In the News: Seeing the Bigger Picture

Four counties in Western Pennsylvania set out to do something that hadn't been done before, and in the process, dramatically improved emergency response regionwide

The counties of Venango, Lawrence, Butler and Mercer, all located within Southwestern PA, all had computer-aided dispatch (CAD) systems that had reached end of life and needed replacement. In spite of three of the counties sharing a CAD system vendor, all four counties had standalone systems and were unable to forward essential CAD data when they transferred calls to each other.

MCP's Chief Operating Officer, Darrin Reilly, was recently featured in a Hexagon Radio's podcast discussing the transformation taking place in mission-critical communities. Forcing that transformation is the increase multimedia data flows that can play a role helping to improve emergency response outcomes. Emergency Services Internet Protocol Networks (ESInets), are providing public safety agencies with a medium to send and receive data-rich multimedia, including images, text, video and data from other sensors.

MCP in the News: Marion-Ocala Communication Centers Need Communication

In September, MCP's Bonnie Maney presented the findings of an assessment of Ocala and Marion County's public safety communications. The results of the assessment identified three "priority one" recommendations for the County Commission to consider along withy additional recommendations to help the city and county overcome some of their most pressing public safety communications issues. MCP in the News: Martin County Hosts Ribbon-Cutting for New 911 Center

Mission Critical Partners is proud to partner with Martin County, N.C. on the design, development and construction of its new regional 9-1-1 communications center. MCP served as the County's technology consultant on the project and provided support throughout the project, helping the County to procure and implement Next Generation 9-1-1 technologies and the systems to support them.
