MCP Announces December Panel Discussion on “Social Media and Emergency Management and Response: Takeaways from the Charleston County 9-1-1 Pilot Program”

The panelists will discuss the why behind the pilot program and the vision in Charleston County, as well as how social media is impacting public safety on a broader scale. Lessons learned and next steps from the pilot project will also be highlighted.
