Mission Critical Partners Expands Cybersecurity and AI Expertise with Addition of Sean Scott
Veteran cybersecurity executive brings more than 35 years of experience protecting public safety and critical infrastructure environments
State College, Pa. (August 25, 2026) — Mission Critical Partners (MCP), a leading provider of consulting and managed services for critical government services, announced that Sean Scott has joined the firm as vice president of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence (AI) resilience.
A highly respected industry leader with more than 35 years of experience, Scott brings deep expertise in cybersecurity, network security engineering and protecting critical infrastructure and public safety environments. His background spans cybersecurity strategy and policy, incident response, network security architecture, Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance, and AI governance.

Throughout his career, Scott has worked closely with public safety agencies and local governments to strengthen the security and resiliency of their critical infrastructure. His public-sector experience includes leading statewide cybersecurity initiatives in Kansas, Maryland, and North Carolina. He also served for four years as an appointed member of the Federal Communications Commission’s CSRIC VIII and IX, representing cybersecurity requirements for public safety, and led multiple Department of Homeland Security initiatives to improve cybersecurity and resilience for public safety organizations.
