Participate in the iCERT 2021 Data Integration Survey

Posted on September 8, 2021 by Matt Schreiner

Over the last 20 years, the public safety community increasingly has leveraged technological advances that enable better interoperability and data sharing. While decreased response times and increased situational awareness have resulted, there is still an opportunity for improvement. Many obstacles exist that prohibit complete end-to-end integration of data throughout the incident management lifecycle. Additionally, identifying the right data to be shared with the right person at the right time is essential to integrating data into the lifecycle.

The Industry Council for Emergency Response Technologies (iCERT) is the only vendor-exclusive trade association that represents members of the public safety technology ecosystem. Mission Critical Partners is an active member of iCERT and its Data Integration Initiative (DII) Working Group, which was established in 2020 to address the future of data integration in the public safety community, particularly what is needed to accomplish it. The working group’s goal is to conduct a workflow analysis to help streamline data integration and usage of data to improve emergency response.

The working group is seeking feedback from public safety professionals like you for its 2021 Data Integration Survey. Respondents will help the working group gauge the public safety community's current state of data integration. This survey will take just 5-10 minutes to complete. To participate, please click here. Participants will be entered into a random drawing for one of five $100 gift cards as a thank you for their time.

All answers will be kept completely confidential and will not be published except in the aggregate. We plan to publish the results in a report in Q4 2021.

By providing your input to these surveys, you will help us better understand the state of data integration in public safety. As an industry leader, your views are valuable both to iCERT and the industry as a whole. We hope to hear from you.
