Mission Critical Partners Announces New Appointments to Board of Directors

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (March 27, 2018)—Mission Critical Partners (MCP) announced today the appointment of five new officers to its board of directors.

The new directors are as follows:

Kevin Murray—Murray is a respected industry pioneer with a career spanning more than three decades in the emergency communications sector. He co-founded MCP in 2009 and grew it to an industry-leading professional services firm. Murray was a founding member and the former chairman of the Industry Council for Emergency Response Technologies (iCert), formerly known as the 911 Industry Alliance. Prior to MCP, he held various leadership positions at other companies focused on improving public safety communications. He has dedicated his career to defining and developing new technology solutions that will transform emergency services delivery.

Robert Chefitz—Chefitz has extensive experience providing strategic guidance to businesses within the security and protection industries and has played a leading role in accelerating their growth. Currently, he is the founder and co-managing partner of Egis Capital Partners, a leading private equity firm that aligns with companies providing critical physical and technology-driven security solutions. Prior to founding Egis, Chefitz was a co-founder and limited partner of the New Jersey Technology Council (NJTC) Venture Fund  from 2001 through 2007. Chefitz also previously served as a partner at Apax Partners, where he led investments in several security-related businesses including CML. He holds a master’s degree from Columbia University School of Business and a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University.

E. Perot Bissell—Bissell brings strong management skills to MCP, having served earlier in his career as the chief executive officer of Next Generation Energy Logistics, LLC (NxGen). He currently serves as managing partner of Egis Capital Partners. During his career, he has devoted a significant focus to the security and protection industries, as well as to directing all strategic and operating aspects of the businesses he has led. Bissell is on the board of directors of Acadia Healthcare Company and holds a bachelor’s degree from Columbia University.

Bernard Bailey, Ph.D.—Bailey is chairman and chief executive officer of Authentix, Inc., a leading global authentication and information services company. His career spans more than three decades of management in the high technology and security industries, including more than 16 years at IBM. A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, Dr. Bailey served for eight years as a naval officer. He holds advanced degrees in engineering from the University of California, Berkeley and the University of Southern California, in addition to a master’s degree in business from George Washington University and a doctorate from Case Western Reserve University.

Douglas Butler—Butler has served in multiple executive positions over his extensive career, building and executing strategy and operations for industry-leading professional services businesses, including a 14-year stretch at IBM. Prior to managing several practices at IBM, he held various leadership positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers (now PwC). He currently serves as managing partner of NextGen Strategic Advisors and is a member of the board of directors at the Corporation Service Company and Genesys Works.
