STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (May 14, 2018)—Mission Critical Partners (MCP), a leading consulting and lifecycle management services firm in the public safety systems and operations field, announced today the promotion of Eric Caddy as its vice president, director of networks and 911 services.
In this new role, Mr. Caddy will lead the team responsible for providing consulting services to 911 and public safety entities as they implement next generation 911 (NG911) systems, as well as manage execution, growth and support initiatives for MCP.
“Eric has demonstrated strategic leadership and client advocacy on a number of very successful projects at Mission Critical Partners. He’s an instrumental and invaluable member of the organization.” said John Chiaramonte, president of consulting services, MCP.
Following thirteen years of service in the Marine Corps, Mr. Caddy began his career in public safety communications in 2000 at Plant Equipment where he worked as a senior project manager for software development and a test engineer. Caddy began managing large-scale projects for mission-critical systems when he transitioned to public safety consulting in 2011. He has spent the past four years at MCP as a senior project manager overseeing statewide and regional NG911 transitions and wireless integrity projects, as well as public safety answering point (PSAP) regionalization initiatives throughout California, Texas, Colorado and Nebraska. He is a certified project management professional (PMP), holds a Bachelor of Science in IT and is active with the National Emergency Number Association (NENA) participating in working groups.
“I’m excited about the opportunity to help guide MCP’s clients and subject-matter experts in the transition from legacy 911 operations to next gen 911 systems and embrace the enormous capabilities NG911 platforms will bring our industry,” said Mr. Caddy.
Caddy will succeed John Chiaramonte, who has taken a new role at MCP as the president of consulting services.
