Mission Critical Partners Expands Its Team with Three Key Hires

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (March 13, 2017)—Mission Critical Partners (MCP) today announced several new additions to its industry-leading roster of public safety subject-matter experts. The new hires are as follows:

Chad Brothers, Senior Technology Specialist—Brothers comes to MCP after a decade with Comtech Telecommunications (formerly TeleCommunication Systems), where he most recently served as the company’s client services engagement manager for the state of Tennessee.  Brothers is a certified emergency number professional (ENP) and project management professional (PMP). He also is a member of the Project Management Institute and National Emergency Number Association (NENA), and serves on the NENA Institute board of directors. Prior to starting his career in public safety communications, Brothers served in the U.S. Army.

Lynn Ness, Project Manager—Ness will support the city of Memphis and Shelby County, Tennessee, in their joint effort to upgrade the public safety radio system that serves the region. The current eight-site, 800 MHz trunked system, which was installed in 2005 as an expanded system to serve Memphis and Shelby County with a common platform, is being replaced by a Project 25 (P25), Phase II-compliant digital radio system that also will operate in the 800 MHz band. Before joining MCP, Ness spent more than a decade as a consultant providing subject-matter expertise to a variety of 800 MHz spectrum reconfiguration projects. He started his career with the Minnesota Department of Transportation, where he focused on the development, expansion, and management of public safety and public service communication infrastructure systems, including digital (P25) trunked radio systems.

Tim Roberts, Business Development Manager—Roberts will concentrate on generating growth opportunities for MCP in the state of Florida. He comes to MCP after a decade of working in a variety of business development and sales/marketing management positions, most notably with General Dynamics Information Technology and Verizon. He began his career in 1984 as a telecommunications manager with AT&T Paradyne, where he planned, designed and maintained voice, data and video communications systems for a variety of corporate clients.
