Public Safety Consulting and IT Services Leader to Continue 10th Anniversary Celebration at Expo Booth

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (June 11, 2019)—Mission Critical Partners (MCP), a public safety consulting and information technology (IT) support services firm, is traveling to Orlando for the National Emergency Number Association (NENA) Conference & Expo 2019 at the Gaylord Palms Resort from June 14-19.

MCP will unveil the firm’s new Model for Advancing Public SafetySM (MAPS) assessment program at NENA. MAPS is a proprietary program designed to help public safety agencies quantify their risks in the public safety ecosystem to then convert them into an opportunity, while benchmarking themselves against similar public safety agencies. The solution quantifies risks specific to an organization’s operation, from cybersecurity assessments to staffing recommendations or detailing the specific needs of a county’s geographic information system (GIS) program.

“The MAPS program helps public safety organizations establish a metric to measure progress against moving forward and communicate with elected officials to justify funding priorities,” said Kevin Murray, MCP’s chairman and chief executive officer. “The MAPS methodology is based on the collective knowledge we’ve gained over the past 10 years with mature, broadly accepted standards and industry best practices to help our clients hone in on the most at-risk elements of their organization.”

MCP will have a full team of experts on hand to discuss the evolving elements of the emergency response ecosystem. Specifically, select members of MCP will take part in the more than 90 hours of breakouts amongst national leaders in public safety, technology and policy.

Business Development Manager Tom Stallone will present “Vendor Management 101” on June 17, while Director of Innovation & Integration Technology Dave Sehnert will co-present “Embracing What’s Possible: Training Your Telecommunicators for New Data Sources” on June 18.

MCP will also have a presence in the Expo Hall at booth No. 1013 where over a dozen MCP public safety experts will share practical real-word solutions in today’s ever-changing public safety landscape. Celebrating the company’s 10th anniversary, MCP will have commemorative challenge coins for visiting clients and an interactive photobooth station for guests.
