NASNA Travel Process

Updated on 3/9/2022

Air Travel

Air travel is paid for by NASNA through MCP and will be booked through Carrousel Travel. When you register for the workshop, you will be asked to identify if you are a NASNA invitee. Carrousel Travel will book air travel for you.

NEW! After registering, please reach out to Lisa or Kathyrn at Carrousel Travel to initiate the booking process. We ask that you do this at your earliest convenience.

Lisa: lzappa@carrouseltravel.com; 612-798-1437

Kathryn: kaeke@carrouseltravel.com; 612-798-1459

You will need the following information prior to booking:

  • Preferred airport
  • Legal name on photo identification (including middle name/initial if applicable)
  • Cell number
  • Email address for itinerary
  • Date of birth
  • Male/female
  • TSA Precheck (if applicable and if you are currently a member)
  • Seat preference (standard coach)
  • Frequent flier number (if applicable, we cannot guarantee your preferred airline)

Carrousel personnel will provide you with options for travel. If you decide to extend your stay and this results in higher airfare, you will be asked to pay the difference. The workshop will end at 12:30 p.m. on the second day to provide you the opportunity to fly out that evening. There may be some exceptions and travel on the following day may be required, in which case you will need to identify the need for an additional hotel night(s).

NASNA will reimburse airport parking for up to three days with receipts.

If you are within driving distance to the workshop, NASNA will reimburse mileage at the federal rate, up to the cost of a flight (estimated at $500.00). Mileage to and from your assigned airport per the shortest distance on Google maps. Please provide a copy of Google maps or another mileage source for reimbursement.
